Praise Reports for Answered Prayer

The Praise Reports listed here have been publicly spoken in gratitude, and to glorify the Lord for what He's done in our life.  .
Some are in answer to prayers requested in church or here on the website, while others are in answer to private prayer.

Praise Report from Dianne's brother, Don for all the lives saved through the websites at Who is Jesus? and Project 10 Million. (More info on the bulletin board at church.)

We prayed for Baby Riley when she was very sick and wasn't thriving. Finally the doctor became serious about finding out what her problem really was, and discovered that she was allergic to the formula they were giving her!  She now is well, and as far as Dianne knows she is thriving at home. Praise God!

We prayed for Nelson's pinched back. Short-staffed, he needed to continue working in the oil field and yet could barely walk. Pastor Lorne and the men of the church laid hands on Nelson. Praise God! Within days he was back to normal.

Last summer, Tammy and Scott felt called to put their farm up for sale. Their prayer request  was for guidance and that God will direct them as they make this big decision. Praise God! He presented an
opportunity for someone to buy their farm and presented them with a new home near Kipling.

We've been praying for our families to want the same personal relationship with Jesus that we of the church enjoy. Anne reported
that she's seeing changes to this effect in her family. Praise God! for speaking to their hearts.

Jason is thankful for the release from the lack of sleep and bipolarism. He doesn't need his meds any longer. Praise God for healing!

Rose reported on the results of her recent 5-year cancer test and she's cancer-free. Praise God for healing!

Murray was in church on Sunday and is recovering from his tick bite infection. Praise God - He led the medical staff to an effective treatment.

Praise Report from Pastor Lorne: Church on the Hill has received another donation from someone in Regina through the United Way Campaign. Thank you to whoever has blessed us in this way.

Pastor Lorne gave a praise report on what COTH has received in result of our rendition of the Live Nativity at the Candiac Auction Mart:
- many compliments for bringing the Christmas story to life
- a monetary donation towards a 2013 production with advice on how it can be improved. (The help and advice is much appreciated.)
- a confirmation from owners,  Kevin & Janet Czerwonka, that the Candiac Auction Mart is available to COTH if we wish it for 2013.
Praise God for blessing our attempt to glorify His birth in this way.

Nelson gave a praise report on his job situation. He was on the verge of losing his job since his current employer sold the company to a new outfit but praise God, the new company has hired Nelson on in the same job with barely any changes in job conditions or rate of pay.

Shirley's husband hit a moose the other night and praised God that no on was injured.

Karen is feeling better and thanks everyone for the prayers. It helped so much to know our thoughts and prayers were with her.

Rose gave a praise report about an incident in her home where she tried to move a cupboard full of dishes and fell. After struggling to get to a chair, she remembered the verse about His presence in time of need and prayed. Then she got up and kept going. Praise God!

Noelle is now a full-time teacher thanks to the unexpected increase in attendance when an extra 30 kids registered at Grenfell school this year. Praise God!

Freda has recovered from the shingles and is doing fine. Praise God!

Jordan, the soundman, who was electrocuted while working with the power cords after a heavy rain this past summer is fully recovered from his ordeal except for a weak muscle in pinkie finger. Praise God!
